Free health & wellbeing support for rangatahi across Ōtautahi & Canterbury.
Canterbury's only youth one-stop
shop.
Te Tahi Youth is the only youth one-stop shop of its kind in the Canterbury region, providing free health, wellbeing, and support services for young people aged 10–24. By bringing together medical care, mental health support, youth development, education and employment pathways, and practical support under one roof, we make it easier for rangatahi to access the help they need, when they need it.
Every year, hundreds of young people and their whānau turn to Te Tahi Youth.

Our Services.
Medical Services.
We provide free, youth-focused medical care for rangatahi aged 10–24 through a dedicated GP practice designed around accessibility, confidentiality, and connection.
Our clinical team delivers the full range of general practice services, with a strong focus on youth health, mental health, and sexual health. This includes support for physical and mental health needs, prescriptions, testing and referrals, contraception, gender affirming care, and medical certificates.
We also provide primary care for tamariki aged 0–5 whose parents or primary caregivers are enrolled with us, helping us support young parents and their whānau in a more connected and practical way.
All services are completely free. We are not a subsidised GP practice under the standard primary care system, which means young people can access care without cost being a barrier.
Across everything we do, the focus is simple: providing timely, accessible healthcare for young people in a way that feels safe, respectful, and easy to engage with.
